Dhruv Luthra
Dhruv is an alumnus of UWC Atlantic from the Class of ‘95 and he has recently made changes to his Will, and is kindly leaving a lasting gift of a legacy to the College.
“The reason I’m leaving a gift to UWC Atlantic is because I’ve had success in my career which I don’t believe I would have had without a UWC Atlantic education. I feel I would never have gone down this path if it hadn't been for the exposure I got here, in particular the confidence to think differently and outside of the box.
I think it helped me to always think at the margins and how can I do something differently and be conscious of not falling for peer pressure or taking notice of what the current trends were but thinking longer term.
The whole process of making changes to my Will was very simple, what I did was add a list of wishes that I sent to the executor of my will, so just one page which says subject to the needs of my daughter being met I would like to leave the equivalent of a scholarship to the college.
For me, it’s about believing in the Principal Naheed Bardai’s goal of increasing the number of students receiving scholarships to 60%. I believe in this goal and want to support it.”
