Our Scholarship Programme
For over 60 years, many alumni have come to UWC Atlantic on a scholarship. If you benefited from one of these incredible opportunities, you understand their impact. Initially, governmental agencies worldwide sponsored students with full scholarships. However, as government funding for education and charities has diminished, these scholarships have significantly decreased.
Now we receive just one or two government-related scholarships a year.
Why support scholarships?
Today, just 35% of our students are on the equivalent of a full scholarship, and, the only way we can provide scholarships is through generous charitable donations from individuals, groups and non-governmental organisations.
We believe our community of supporters - including alumni and parents who share our mission - can help change this narrative and enable us to increase our scholarship percentages once again.
While our environment has changed dramatically, our mission remains the same: to pursue diversity and support students who deserve the UWC Atlantic experience but cannot afford it. We are dedicated to helping those from war-torn regions, refugees and individuals facing financial hardships.

Our goal
We’re aiming for the equivalent of 60% of students on a full scholarship by 2032. This means we must raise £3 million per year. With no government funding, we rely on the generosity of alumni, parents and friends of the college to make this happen. We need you.
