A new innovative campus
A cutting-edge, innovative, and collaborative space for teaching and learning. This space, called the Education Hub, will support the delivery of teaching of UWC Atlantic students for the next 40 years.
Our new Education Hub will house the innovative Systems Transformation Pathway alongside maths, sciences, and languages. It will feature flexible teaching spaces, modern science labs, and a gathering area, creating a sustainable, future-proof learning environment for generations to come.
The cost of this building will be approximately £27m and we’re seeking £600,000 in 2024-25 to complete the planning approval and begin some work before procurement of our main contractor.
There are opportunities for donors to sponsor a specific area within the hub - such as the language, mathematics and science zones, the Systems Transformation zone, the Technology zone, a gathering space and a Learning Centre.
If you would like to support this project and help us modernise our academic precinct, please consider donating!
A cutting-edge, innovative, and collaborative space for teaching and learning. This space, called the Education Hub, will support the delivery of teaching of UWC Atlantic students for the next 40 years.
At its heart will be a central atrium or Town Square where all staff and students will meet to discuss, socialise and share ideas.
The Education Hub will have four teaching villages encompassing Mathematics, Sciences, Languages, and the new course the System Transformation Pathway (STP). These villages will have spaces for fully equipped laboratories alongside four hubs for cross-curricular collaborative learning.
